Prior OK After Collision
The Chicago Tribune reports in Saturday’s paper that Mark Prior appears to be OK, though he may have a sore right shoulder for a few days, after his collision with Braves second baseman Marcus Giles while running the basepaths in Friday’s game. Prior stayed in the game, but didn’t pitch well.
Giles had a mild concussion and will be out of action for the next two games. Both players are questionable for Tuesday’s All-Star Game.
